JULY 29th: The Parallels & The Split Up’s!

Why hello Vancouver heat wave! With days full of beach waves & tall cans of Cider we’re finding ourselves caught up in a daze by the time evening hits; drunk, disorientated, & sweaty thinking “what will I do tonight?” Well, the July installation of The Beehive will be a bit of a punk rock party & a perfect way to sweat out the toxins we’ve been ingesting all summer, or just keep on sweating with a good dance off on our dance floor! We’ve got our regular DJ Mo Diddly spinnin’ a new collection of records from his European adventures, as well as two bands to look forward to:

THE SPLIT UP’S:

Word of mouth goes a long way. When buzzing around town trying to figure out who we might want to vamp up one of our Wednesday nights this summer, Mongrel Zine told us to check out this band. 10 seconds into a song, we were sold. See for yourself!

The Split Up’s - Action Man

The Split Up’s - Top Spot

THE PARALLELS:

Back for another round of Beehive fun, headlining are one of The Beehive’s very favourite bands; always lookin’ sharp & bringing sunshine and lolli-pops to that garage sound we all love oh-so-much!
